Dress and casual Socks is a must have in every man's close.
I've known man who a bigger extensive wardrobes of men's shoes than manny woman, and who could match their socks and shoes perfectly.

Protect yourself from making these fashion blunders, and keep looking your best!

Why so many man overlook the casual contexts and the certain etiquette that must be applied into dressing up? Matching your socks to your pants and shoes should be acknowledged to give the right impression with the right outfit.

When coordinating a suit your belt shoes and your socks must look perfect. Most forgotten accessory tends to be the socks. However, socks are very important, because they are very visible to those around you. What's the purpose of putting on a nice pair of suit if you are going to mess it up with the accessories!

Here are some basic general rules to follow to make sure your dress socks stay perfect, not tacky.

Rule of thumb, the dressier the situation, the darker the socks.
A great rule of thumb is to match the thickness of your socks to the thickness of your suit or slacks. You want the dress socks you wear to be a shade darker than your suit pants, but in the same color family to create continuity all the way down to the floor. Socks should match your shoes or your pants, the choice is yours. But socks that blend with your suit pants are a much better look, because they are subtle and elongate your legs.
When wearing a light suit, make sure the socks are darker than the suit but a shade or so lighter than the shoes.



When your socks match the color of your trousers it looks better, it gives you an extension of the trousers in color tone. They should be slightly darker than your trouser.
As far as sock length and thickness are concerned, you should make sure the socks are a thin cotton/nylon or cashmere blend for wear with leather shoes and extend over the calf. You truly want to avoid ever having your bare leg exposed when in a suit and sitting down, as well as wearing thick socks that are meant to be paired with chinos or jeans, because both show that you are unaware of the difference between casual and dress socks.
Plain with no texture, it’s the most conservative. To ascertain sock quality and comfort, look for a flat seam across the toe.

Man you need to give Santa his socks! I bet you Santa is looking for it. I don't even have the courage to wear a bright red socks such as this one! How can a business man wear it with a business suit and a suitcase? Naah- man this is totally wrooong!


Oh,no,no no! What in the world is this?! Guys please don't ruin your outfit like this. This it terrible.




CASUAL SOCKS: these are the socks you can wear with your chinos, slacks or jeans.
The rule still applies for matching socks with trousers, but with casual socks you can get into more color, pattern and texture. Heavier weight socks are perfectly okay in casual circumstances. Pattern Socks can be any pattern you like – plaids, checks, dots, and stripes. The more pattern the more casual.
The Argyle socks are very sporty for your Casual look, it has beautiful multicolored diamond patterns.Don't wear dress sock with more casual outfits.
Stick to navy, black or diamond pattern for your casual socks look instead. They always look much more stylish than white.




Wearing athletic socks, for non athletic occasions:
Why some guys love wearing white socks with their Casual clothes? Some even got the nerves to wear them with suits! No, no, no! That just don't work guys!No!!! Please, no,no,no! I beg you don't do this! I hate this socks and sandal look. It's 'The' most hideous street Fashion trend I've ever seen. It looks goofy and lazy. Have you seen anyone ever pulled this off, and look good? Case close.


Only Michael Jackson could wear a shiny white socks and still pulled it off.
No one else in the world can do it, like he did!

No white socks with a suit!
White socks are either in the medical or for athletic, so don’t ruin your business or formal wear. It is distracting and unattractive for many reasons, so simply avoid it. Keep the white athletic socks for the gym or when you’re out playing sports. That's why they have a cushioned-sole or some other feature specific to the sport for which they were designed. Usually, they're white or white with colored stripes at top or with a logo. Athletic socks are mostly cotton, a natural fiber that lets your foot breathe and wicks away moisture.

Wash athletic socks in hot water to make sure you get the stains and smell out!

Andy’s Powder tip: If you use talc in your shoe, make sure it's in the shoe and not in your sock. Putting powder in your socks traps the moisture there.

When you buy a pair of socks get two or three pair of the same style and color. When the sock monster, hides, stills and eat them , you’ll still have others to match. :-)))*
